Silver Prototypes

These are my prototypes that I was casting yesterday and I'm working on neckpieces so the ring will also be incorporated within the designs that I will come up with.

Entrepreneurship

 This is me and the MEC for Finance in KwaZulu Natal Ms Peggy Nkonyeni in the DUT Innobiz Hackathon 2023 that was held in Petermaritzburg. we were having a dialogue about entrepreneurship and how we as young entrepreneurs can benefit from the government.

A Ring Made Of A Horn

This is a ring made by Songezo Baleni it is made of a cow's horn and I find it interesting because of how the horn material shines like plastic when polished. This made of cheap material but now it can be something valuable and redeemable. 

 

Isihlangu(Zulu artillery)

This is a shield (Ihawu) which is used by Zulu warriors to protect themselves in a fight it also has the short spear (Iklwa), Iwisa and other 2 sticks. These sticks are carefully picked and carved to create a certain shape.

Orientation Collage Development

 

This is a table that me and some of the students were working on and we were working on our collages and when I stood up I realised that the table itself was now looking like a collage.,

Orientation week

 This is food that I was given by a first year student Mia Mathews she just placed them on the piece of paper and I noticed that it was different geometric shapes with some organic shapes too. I find this interesting because it was not planned.

Orientation: Chinese Zodiac

 

Here is a group collage that we are still doing with for our Orientation and the concept is the Chinese Zodiac and the year of the Rabbit.
